For Our Young Musicians

  1. Brings together the finest young musicians from a widely scattered area to rehearse and perform together under inspiring leadership
  2. Offers orchestra training with professional musicians
  3. Enables students to experience the elements of a professional environment including competition, responsibility, and concert hall performances
  4. Offers students the opportunity to broaden their repertoire by playing music of varied and differing styles from the standard professional literature
  5. Enables our young musicians to compete nationally for music scholarships, many of which require that the student participate in a youth symphony program
  6. Gathers a peer group of young people who share their commitment to music
  7. Reaches out to all students on the basis of musical ability without regard to race or creed. Scholarships and financial aid are available.
