Orchestra Summer Camp --
Music to Your Ears!
June 14-18 & June 21-25, 2010
The Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County is pleased to present an orchestra day camp at Old School Square in Delray Beach. The program is offered in two one-week sessions, June 14-18 and June 21-25, 2009. Campers may attend one or both sessions. Orchestra Summer Camp is open to all young musicians (string, woodwind, brass and percussion), ages 8 to 18.
Daily activities include instrumental technique, music theory, chamber music ensembles, sectional instruction and orchestra rehearsals. Campers will present a concert for familiy and friends at the conclusion of each session.
Camp will be held under the direction of Mr. Manuel Capote, YOPBC’s Music Director and Philharmonic Orchestra Conductor, along with Mrs. Susan Rodberg, String Orchestra Conductor. Additional professional musicians will participate as Sectional Coaches and Guest Musicians.
Tuition for each camper is $250 for one session and $450 for both sessions. In addition, a $30 non-refundable registration fee is required. Musicians bring their own lunch. Tuition includes music, t-shirt and snacks, and must be paid in full by June 1st.
